10% minimum R250 - scary thought if the Beemer gets stolen or written off Looking at R13000 if it happens

    Read mine and understood.

    I think
    I hope

    Maybe I should check

Why does insurance houses always want to get out of their commitments by using technical loopholes when you have paid you dues for years

Friend of mine was informed that his payout will be 10% less because his bike is grey. Uuugghhh NOW I'M ANGRY

My biggest problem is the theft - I refused to get an extra alarm system because when I got the bike it was fitted with a factory HISS system, The insurance accepted it as is, and 1 year later they now said they not accepting this anymore.

So I said suck on this!

My theft is R2750.00 + 20% of the value of the bike = R16 000.00.

I'm still trying to find out what the written off payout will be.
Something to do with the depreciation value on the year model according to the resale value bla bla bla....

And then I still have to pay the R2750.00 excess. Mine is luckily fixed, I pay a little more per month to keep it at this price. Worth it for me.

    Mine's 7,5% min R 1 000 - so on my R 55000 bike - it's R4 125 which I am very happy with. No hidden excesses.

Look out fo "hidden cumulative excesses" on you insurance policy.

    Mine is as follows

    21 < age < 25 = R.3500, min 10%

    Additional excess

    Learners = R.4500
Accident in first 90 days of cover = R.5000

Don't know the additional excess for theft and track school sorry ops:

And since my accident was within less than a month i bought the bike.

    3500 + 4500 + 5000 = R.13 000 that i have to pay within the next 3 - 4 weeks.
