Need some legal advice.

Hi. Riding down 16th street in Midrand on 29 July 2005 on my custom Kawa Z1100 cruiser some bindt working for Toyota Mcarthy in Midrand came flying out of the driveway of the vehicle dealership and parked her companies Toyota Hilux 4x4 monster on top of my bike as I was driving past. As it was my right of way she was totally wrong and out of line. She denied responsibility and refused rudely to supply her insurance details (I was not insured) Only after threatening her did my lawyer get the details early January this year. Im being screwed big time here. Insurance is gona screw me and I lost and am still losing mega bucks cause I cant move around to work. (Im self employed as security a consultant) Where to from here? Some guys tell me to sue her but I dont have bucks.

Better to go after McCarthy Toyota Midrand. Their bakkie, thier liability. You lawyer should know that. Threaten with going to the press and come to a settlement.

Just to let you all know - We've spoken to Rex re his terrible accident. According to the pics provided to us it seems that the Toyota Hilux was at fault. We are in the process of collecting all relevant info and will try and assist him as far as possible. We are at this stage awaiting details of the registered owner at the time of the loss in order to establish to whom liability could be attached to.

Progress in this matter will be posted on the site.

the driver wasn't the owner and from what i can pick up it isn't a fleet vehicle either...

I know how much trouble you have gone through and i also know that it hasn't been easy and that F has phoned her.

Bottom line is that unless your records show the vehicle belonging to B. LLewellen with an imigrants passport, than you have the wrong details.

Just confirming because INSURANCE should have settled this matter within a couple of days. With OR without her co-operation.

Stop worrying about being politically correct or not.

We ARE trying to ROAST them because no remorse was shown. Better treatment should not be expected unless she cleans up her act.
