I passed my bike license!!!

I kept letting my learners expire and had to redo it a few times. I finally decided it was a waste of money and I should just get my license. My nerves were shot but the examiner was really nice.I messed up on emergency stop because I wasn't sure if it was going to be stop or turn. When i did it the 2nd time it was fine. The rest of the test was fine. Anyone know if they issue you a license with both bike and vehicle license right now? I passed first time !!!

When I passed my test they issued a new card with both on it.

Thanks everyone, i'm so happy that they will put both on the card. My license was up for renewal next year so at least I'm saving money by getting the bike license just before the renewal of the EC license. I can't believe how easy the test was.

PS In 1986 when I got my license () it cost R5 for my yard test. I also fluffed my emergency stop. He said, okay go do it again but ride faster this time! The only time a cop has told me to ride faster

when I did my first emergency stop in my test the testing lady walked over and told me I didn't have to be going THAT fast for the test and to slow it down
Everyone had made me paranoid by saying I would fail that section if I wasn't going fast enough stopped in the right spot but everything was locked up and squealing to get me there

We live and learn I guess. Celebrated my 5 year anniversary of having my full license last year when I needed to do my renewal.
The thought of the test is more daunting than the actual test so in hindsight best to get it done asap

I remember being so stressed after the L turn and stop. i took my helmet off to talk to the testing instructor and she asked me if i wanted a break for a smoke as i looked like i was going to pass out, being 18 and convincing your parents to buy you a bike against their wishes was like if i fail this my life would have been over. and man did i stress the emergency breaking as Pepper having a Drum Break rear i knew how easily she locked up. man, Little 250's are still the easiest bikes to do it on, first to second and just idle through the whole test!
