Hein Jonker, the current owner of the Think Bike Campaign (or what is left of it), sent this WhatsApp message to Johan du PLessis (Jasper):

Na 'n gesprek met die TB Marshall (sic) kommitee (sic)
is daar besluit om geensins die Campaign of
Marshalling kan koppel met Rehann (sic) nie.
Sy geskiedenis met Think Bike, en die huidige saak teen hom,
is nie iets wat ek (MSI en Think Bike) gaan akkommodeer nie.

This followed a telephonic conversation during which Hein Jonker said that "the marshals" said I owed Think Bike Marshalling money. He was told I had been summonsed, or was about to be summonsed.

I was a little surprised, inquired from the Head Marshal (Viljoen) about this and received this confirmation via email:

With regards to your query dated 20 May 2021 relating to monies
outstanding payable to Think Bike Marshals Gauteng by "Rehann Coetzee".

I advise that there are no outstanding payments due to Think Bike Marshals
Gauteng By Rehann Coetzee.

Bertus Viljoen had confirmed this information with the auditors.

I called Hein Jonker and we cleared the air between us around this issue. And he told me that Quinton van Eeden (Q on the forum) is the honourable chap who told him I owe the marshals money.

It goes without saying that I reserve all my rights to pursue a legal remedy from the (hardly existing) Think Bike Campaign - and the individual who gave Hein Jonker the inaccurate information.

Back in the day we would have gotten rid of someone like Q. Neither the campaign, not the marshals, would have kept him on.
