    Default Malibongwe route advice

    Hi,
Anyone with experience commuting Malibongwe Blairgowrie area to Kya Sand? Iím considering commuting this route, is it a bad idea or is there a better route?
    Thanks

    Hey Michael

I think if you travel the Malibongwe route it will be the best route as it is a dual carriage-way so you will mainly be dealing with traffic traveling in the direction you are going. It also depends on the time you are traveling, if it is peak hour traffic or not. I find that you gain 30 minutes commuting by bike, but this is something you are going to have to figure out traveling different times and pick the best time that you feel comfortable in the traffic at that time of morning or afternoon. When traveling from Blairgowrie, especially residential areas where there are side roads that cars are likely to dive into, always keep that in mind when there is queuing traffic in a residential area or an area with side roads. Best is to always take it easy, enjoy the ride and to expect the unexpected.

I did Rosebank to Lanseria airport not too long ago during the morning peak hour. I made my way to Malibongwe using Jan Smuts and Republic. The congested main roads made commuting by motorcycle a picnic.

    Awesome thanks.
I have actually been riding the route since Jan (different times of day, different days) the dual carriage way makes it easy but the taxis can be a bit of a pain so you gotta be super aware. But the commute is less than half the time now
