    Default Inter - bike intercom?

    Hi all;

    Looking for an inter - bike intercom, no need for the type with a camera. Would like to have the following capabilities:

    • Ability to communicate with other brands
    • Bluetooth for phone calls & listening to music
    • Good voice clarity
    • Does not cost a fortune...

    Thanks all, will appreciate your feedback based on your experiences
    SM

    I've been using this for a while now http://www.spiritmotorcycles.co.za/p...ooth-intercom/
    good all round.
    I don't think it connects to other brands though.

    I've been using Sena units for training for various reasons, including the ability to connect with other brands (although funny enough - thanks for the info Az - not a Spirit unit). Chat to GPS4Africa once you've had a look on Sena's site. They have various models with various features.
    Try not. Do or do not, there is no try.

    One of the shops (Pro V @ Harties) had a lot of good things to say about Sena. Funny you should say GPS4Africa - I actually just bought my bike from one of their staff... 😬🤘

    A buddy of mine and I tried out the SCS S1 communicator. They are cheap (1600 on takealot), play music, navigation and rider to rider comms. The volume in the speakers are also pretty good (can make a phone call at 100Km/h) and still hear okay). The distance is also pretty impressive for such a cheap device. Line of sight is about 500m (maybe more before it starts crackling)

    Cons
    • Volume up and down buttons are a bit hard to feel with gloves on
    • Don’t think it will be comparable with other brands
