R57 VanderBijl Park 02/08
Rider seriously injured in collision with pedestrian on the R57 VanderBijl Park to Sasolburg road.
At approx. 06.30 a 20/30's lady tied to run across the R57 in front of the motorcyclist. In the collision the pedestrians left leg was torn off, and she died on the scene. The seriously injured rider was found about 70m from the impact point. He was stabilised and taken to hospital.
