    Default Bag advise

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section, not sure where to ask

Someone know if one can get these bags (or something equivalent) in SA?

    http://www.americankargo.com/store/trooper-hi-vis

Looking for something highly visible, versatile and can take lots of stuff (like going to office with my laptop as well as gym clothes, or go ride weekend with enough space for a change of clothes, and some loose stuff.

Open to suggestions, just did not see anything suitable in the 2 bike shops I been (moto mate, bikers warehouse)

If you find out let me know. I currently use a (older) model Targus waterproof for a 17" laptop. It's big enough to hold my laptop, food, etc. When I pop into clients I have enough space for my easy-overs in there as well. But it is starting to wear out.
I am who I am because I do not know how to be anybody else.

Will do. At $210 + $50 delivery it seems to be about the same price as the Targus bag I looked at locally. Just like that one being a nice bright colour (and at the risk sounding lame, a whole lot cooler)
Just worried customs nail me again like they did last month with a gopro+grip.

I am also using the larger 17" Targus backpack. It has kept my laptops alive through 3 or so accidents and rainy weather riding over the years

Try taking your Targus backpack to the supplier, they replaced my 5 year old 17" Targus backpack that started to ware out on the straps for a new one for free - no questions asked.
They just evaluated the bag and said they will order one and a week or 2 later told me to come and collect it.

What a lucky bloke! Where did you take yours?

Bought mine from Pinnacle or Tarsus when I was still registered as a re-seller.

Little off topic, but my Targus survived my crash in 2011 and is still going strong. Use it to work everyday.

    Testament to the Targus durability.

I know KTM is a swearword for BMW riders, but I got me one of these - http://www.fowlers.co.uk/offroad/all...ottle-bag-7898

It's fully waterproof, has a compartment for your laptop and more than enough space for other things.

Bought this for myself when my last bag gave up. Bought it from Linex Yamaha in Randburg. Great bag

I have a Targus Atmosphere (the one with the water repellent cover in the small compartment underneath). The front column zip became faulty. I emailed Targus, they asked for the serial number (photo of the actual tag on the bag), as well as photos of the damaged zip. Sent those to them, a week later I received an email with a tracking number for a replacement bag. Bag was delivered in 5 days from Europe.

They did ask for the proof of purchase, but I told them the bag is 8 years old and I do not have the receipt anymore. They didn't have an issue with that.
