Default Marshal Training at Gerotek on Sunday 3rd July 2016

Marshal Training took place at Gerotek on Sunday 3rd July 2016.
Almost all of the TB Marshals were able to attend the full day of training using the Gerotek facilities.
Unfortunately when riding things sometimes do go wrong and it is training events like this that help get us train to get out alive and hopefully in one piece!

The bulk of the 8 hours of training was given over to improving general riding skills (slow riding, cornering, throttle and brake control, emergency maneuvers). There was also a portion of the day set aside to supporting marshalling skills.
Thanks to all who attended and also to the instructors who kept us busy and entertained while providing valuable riding skills training!

It's easy to talk from the other side of your keyboard. I'd know. I miss counted corners and went farming once my self, we can all ride like rossi, until you miss second gear infront of every one🤔 yet again, talking from lots and lots of personal experience😔

Are you suggesting that I have never ridden that particular track?

Nope. Not at all. Just suggesting the fact that you haven't raced that track with the privilege and prestige of the likes of me. Trust me my little baby blade "Pepper" would have caused you to make a few mistakes too. Don't worry, we understand why you where to scared to come to training. Some one has too keep you old codger's in order

So were any of the marshals stupid enough to ride the 80% gradient up and down?

Or was that only us few stupid ones that one time?
