    Default Dearham Management Services

Dearham covers learner riders. I bought myself a KTM 390RC and got full cover for under R400pm.

I can't advice, except that you shop around a bit. Those excesses look a tad excessive!

it is a tad excessive but have no plans on wrecking anything right now, so that gives be a bit of time to shop around.

    Cool!

If you want, send Stranger on the forum a PM. He is a broker and goes out of his way to find a fair deal for fellow bikers.

Also tried Dearham, but for a learner under 25 the excesses were too much. Potentially R7.5k+ excess!

None of my insurers had any issues covering a rider with only a learners.
My CBR is covered for R80k for r400, so this does not seems exceptional at all.

Again: My current bikeline policy excess:
    Basic Flat: R2,000
Learnerís licences less than 6 (six) months): Additional R3,000

The Ninja is on another policy, with a more complex excess structure, but worst case it would be slightly cheaper for a learner rider although it's more costly monthly.
