Nope, I was early but decided to leave 7:25. All I'm seeing at present is that the majority of other bikers just considers the SL to be used as it conveniences them. At the speed they are going the justification of the so-called safety aspect goes out of the window. I feel they can not and will not accept a change of mind just because very few bikers still split properly and legally.

I agree. Law enforcement must come in to play here too. We can set the example, but some people simply know better.

Im confused... Mostly In TB eyes its OK for riders to ride with brights on dangerously affecting other road users but its not Ok to ride on the side of the road affecting no one ?!?!

You certainly are confused. Just because you managed to overdo your diatribe about the brights and thereby shot yourself in the foot (with a machine gun) does not mean Think Bike condones it. The fact that you missed that says a lot about exactly how deep your diatribe went.

Maybe the depth of your confusion explains why you would reckon it is OK to ride in the Suicide Lane. I can't imagine what else it could be

I always think, if I can manage to split with my GSA, surely it should be easier for the other bikes.

Its not only moving objects, but stationary hazards as well. A ot of debris, missing drain covers, etc. in the SL. This morning there were 2 cars in the SL parked that had breakdowns. Further, by the speed these guys are cruising its a wonder there are not more accidents. Ive witnessed two bikes taking each other out in the SL. Also witnessed a bike being pushed up against the concrete barrier by a cage...

    So back to the point...

EVERY monday i will be at the Total Garage on Gordon road. I try to get there around 7H20...to start our commute towards Rivonia road etc.

I may not post a reminder here every week or every day. BUT I will be there!

I started this thread because regardless of how futile my attempts may be at changing behaviour, that at least i can say i tried. Its bad enough that most threads I read are hijacked by some "Know it all" spewing garbage from a keybaord (which i just ignore).

But please dont do it on my thread, where im trying to be proactive!

Keep your panties on......you are doing a good job ad the others just aving some fun......relax bru

You might want to watch your language when you get all uppity. Terms such as "childish bickering" and reporting a post as "off topic and stupid" might not be the best way to go about it.

    Take some advice from Trevelle.

That's no kitty, it's a mean pussy. Which, I suppose is stupid, off-topic and childish.

    I now totally get it!

Please accept my apologies for trying to be proactive and to get something done!

I also apologise for trying to prevent my thread from being hijacked by Childish bickering by "Senior" members on this forum.

I also apologise for reporting the Posts (as requested ) to be deleted to ensure that this thread remains on topic

I also Apologise for thinking that people can behave themselves in a mature manner when others express a different point of view to them! I mean the evidence of this is posted all over this forum!

So after a rather uneventful 3.5 years of being a member of thinkbike, doing the odd educational demo, "Marshalling" a few events, Being involved in trying to get the campaign sponsorship, trying to get the SL campaign going, I refuse to get dragged down to this level of Childishness!

I now totally understand why Moose, Stranger and Crash all warned me against people on this campaign, and why some -people choose to do their own thing without the support of ThinkBike...

Rehann, AMZ...you are the reason why this campaign has become toothless, and you are the reason why people avoid ThinkBike.
