Default Careful riding in wonderful CT winter weather!

This is the closest I get to snow in CT:

For some reason in a short bit of road leaving Stellenbosch the CT weather decided to dump most of the hail meant for the little town...

Ride safe guys! Water everywhere, and now ice as well it seems....At least most of the oil should have washed from the road by now.. I hope

There's a section under better biking on options to keep them digits nice and toasty...
Search with keywords like 'inner', 'latex surgical', 'winter gloves'... you'll find it
    Everybody crashes.
Some get back on and ride again.
    Some don't.
    Some can't.

Been to RSR at 5AM recently, so I can testify, latex surgical gloves first and then your normal gloves over WORKS

Yes but luckily for me one of the esteemed TB marshal experts informed me today that all you need to ride your bike in the snow are black tyres... ...the fact that my bike and gear are also all black stands me in good stead for winter next year...

I had to take my wife to work this morning as her car is in for repairs. This added an additional 30km and two freeway trips on the R300 to my usual commute. All with vented summer gloves. It felt like my fingers were going to fall off when I got to work.
