CRF Dead

Hi All

My Honda CRF230 is dead, was running fine then spluttered and died .
I have done all that I am technically able to, checked and cleaned all other possible bits but just don't have the equipment to fault find the electronics.

Could anyone be able to suggest a good place to take the bike (Centurion/Pretoria) that's not going to make me broke, if its the dealer then so be it .

I'm sorry to hear that! Those 230's are supposed to be bulletproof, so I hope it's not something serious. Anyway, as I don't have an offroad bike I can't speak from firsthand experience here, but if I remember correctly someone from Off Road Cycles in PTA is a member of the WD forum and lots of guys go to him. I hope this helps

Well, found the fault...

The kill switch wire had worn through and was earthing on the chassis, one VERY expensive piece of insulation that was, but at least all working now.
