Never met the big man, but because of him, I'm here. As Blackie says, ride the skyways. Pegs down for me tonight.

Never met the man but he sure left a legacy and a following. Reading the "Bucc down" thread gives one an inkling of the esteem in which he was held. May he rest in peace.

    Wow... 6 years ago...

I remember being at Phakisa after a day of training, having packed it in for the Saturday, ready to sleep over in the pits and continue on the Sunday...

Bucc and a few other went into town to get supper...

He never came back - only the horrific news that he had gone down... having hit a bus doing an illegal u-turn on a dark road.

He passed a few days later.

Watching this video has brought on an incredible feeling of loss in me today

    RIP my friend.

    Everybody crashes.
Some get back on and ride again.
    Some don't.
    Some can't.

Bucc lives on, in everyone of us that continues with the work he started. We can't say he is not here

    he is.

What an incredibly horrible day that was. Quite the gathering at the old Kopdood, only it wasn't on a Friday for coffee.

Awesome video. Crash, thanks for sharing this. I only knew the Bucc for a short time, but I will always remember him with respect and admiration for the person he was.

    RIP Brother!
