Reasons to take gun to work
A few reasons out of many
1: I travel through dangerous area’s with high crime rates where I may be hijacked and need to protect myself
2: I’m have to walk through dangerous area to get to my work so I need to be able to protect myself
3: I work at funny times of the day which increases the risk of getting attacked and may need to protect myself
Now add in that the person may have family members traveling with them and the reason to carry a firearm to protect oneself escalatesa
and there is hundreds of other reasons why someone would take gun to work

and as for the Knife does not go off acidentally

personally I have accidentally cut myself quite a few times through my life and have numerous scars from accidental cuts
I have never accidentally shot myself or someone else however

Oh and Mark since you say that you can't see a reason to justify it
that is great and you have every right not to carry a firearm just don't try and force me not to carry one

Huh? Where and when was that said? I've read almost every article about the biker shooting and didn't see that comment...

SO glad he was suspended, should be fired... but then he would probably have an even deeper hatred and initiate vengence towards bikers since that's his pathetic mentality to begin with...

I read voraciously, and on many of the newspaper forums it is touted as a racist tissue, I do not think if at final analysis anyone will find it had anything to do with race. ThnAir listened to a program on 702 where this topic was discussed and a psychologist on the program stated "a person has no idea of the intense rage a person feels that compels them do something this irrational" and I think the psychologist is right.

Regardlist of if it is about who is right or wrong, or about the right to bear arms or not, this story is tragic for 2 families.

No amount of regret or remorse will change the events of Friday that has changed the paths of many peoples lives.
