OK, this IS the Movember fred which we've just successfully jacked
Allow me to bring it back on course:

    Just registered.
How does one proceed with cash/EFT donations? Should members make it to the "Think Bike" team or individually to Movember?

    What is preferable to you?

I find it is easier for folks to either pay on the website: http://za.movember.com/donate/ search for me or my team (Think Bike) and follow the instructions, or pay me cash, and then I donate on the website to myself. There is a secure online credit card payment facility you could make use of.

Thanks. I did register and checked out all the options. Perhaps my question should`ve been stated more clearly. If I`m correct, as a donor I can either eft direct to Mo`, eft direct to Mo` under reference "to myself" or direct to Mo` under ref " to Think Bike team", or even eft Mo` direct with donation "to you".... Assuming someone wants to make a donation to (on behalf of) the "Mo`TB team", then he would have an option to split donation equally amongst members of Mo` TB team, or to a particular member ? Thus the reason for my question: what would the team prefer? If no preference, no worries.

    Ah, Now I understand better.

I reason like this: If someone out of their own accord would like to donate, it's their prerogative. If you, however, convince someone to donate, and they ask for your preference, I say let them donate to you, since you are the one who made the donation happen. It will automatically be added to the combined team effort, but your standing within the team will increase. And there is nothing wrong with a bit of internal competition to motivate everyone to keep fundraising.

But, it's your choice. There is no preference other than increasing the team's general standing globally (for marketing purposes ). Whether you split it equally to all the members, or just yourself, it will be pooled to the team. As long as you don't donate to "Mo", but the team, all is good.

We have 11 team members and a total of R1,000 donated. The target is 20 members by the end of this weekend, so come on guys, get involved, get some Mo Sistas involved as well (currently I'm the only Mo Sista on the team )

The donation was anonymous, so we can't thank the donor. In their absence, Thank You!

Well... I have some news... I received this email last night:

    Hi Jacques,

Thanks for the email. I am indeed a big supporter of Think Bike and Movember. I'm still finalizing my plan of action for this year and will definitely keep your group under consideration as we get closer to the month!
    Regards,

    Big to anonymous donor.

C`mon peeps, please support this good cause. Every act of kindness, however small or random it may be, makes a difference.

Right: 13 members as of now.

Just 7 to go before the end of the weekend.

And if you can get more sponsors... GREAT!
