Default Stop them or slow them down?

Will this stop the bike thieves from trying to steal my bike or will it only slow them down?

I suppose that anything is better than nothing...... I just pity the rim after a while.
Lets hope the thieves rock up minus a bolt cutter.

If they expect the lock/chain it's probably just a delay.

Definitely. It also has a better strength to weight ratio = less to carry around for the same effect.
