Date not set...just an idea I had while there, Fox grabbed it. Gunner's Co starts again mid-Jan (so his marketing team will get involved), date dependent on response here

Bike ride idea (around the dam) - busy looking at various accommodation options in the area. Proposed time to do this:- September - October 2012 - its too cold in winter (in freezes there) and WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY hot in summer... I dont know the dates of the major rallies at that time

This ride would include a trip INTO the dam wall at Gariep (on foot...no biker flying over the wall). A possible braai at one of the dorpies, a trip over the Aqueduct - and will include 3 provinces

Just a suggestion, incase more than 5 actually arrive. The Forever Resort have lots of accommodation.

Siloam Village can accommodate 120 ... and their rates look good
Forever Resort is also very pretty (right near the dam wall)

WHoa! Didn't realise Siloam Village can handle 120. That is pretty handy.

Public Holidays in the period you are considering:

9 August - Thursday
24 September - Monday

Might help to stretch the weekend a tad.
