    Default Taking a break.

So Iíve been playing with this idea for about a month now and I think I have finally made up my mind.
For the last year or so I havenít been comfortable on the bike, every stop street I come up to I s**t myself because I think a cage is gonna take me out. Every red robot I have the same thing. Every corner I take I worry that thereís a cage on my side of the road as I go round it... Its basically got to the point that I donít enjoy riding the bike anymore. Its also been a worry that Iíve had to put on my family every time I take the bike out and I donít think its fair on them anymore...
So Iíve decided Iím going to take a break from the road for a while, who knows maybe a month maybe a year maybe for ever. BUT Iím not taking a break from riding. I still love the thrill of riding, I still love the power between my legs I still love everything about it, except the road. Hence the reason Iíve decided to sell the KLR and Iím starting to look for a plastic bike. (oh and trailer) so at least I can still ride for the love of it but wont have to worry about every taxi I over take and every salesman in his BMW talking on his cell phone. Iím hoping that what I sell the KLR for, I can pretty much buy a nice second hand plastic plus trailer plus PW80 for the sprog
This does NOT mean Iím standing down from Think Bike, I will continue my work with Think Bike especially heading up the membership section. I would also like to continue my dedication to the marshalling (obviously we will need more mountain bike events) and Iím keeping the scoot for the big marshalling events (94.7, walk the talk etc...)

Respect your inner feeling (6th sense)
I do feel that we must listen to our own inner self. Why?? I can’t tell you but during may short life 50y plus vat plus extras, I have experienced this. You will know when it it’s time to go back to the road. Enjoy every moment of you adventure and hope to see you back on the roads with us. Or we might be joining you.
Enjoy the dirt! But don’t bite the dust!

    Sorry to hear that.......

One thing I do agree, is that we need to look into doing some MTB marshalling.
I have been asking some questions, but I don't think i have approached to right people, but i am sure persistence will pay off soon.

Schweet dude - I can respect that. I have wondered a lot about that too for myself.

Good luck mate. See you at Daytona then.

the F#@!$% nearly killed me,and he is smiling!!!!
    thinks its a big joke.
Ranting aside, its sad to see another biker being forced off road(pardon the pun on my recent incedent)
Hope to see you back soon

Aaaaai Tim, sad to read this but when that inner voice talks, one needs to listen.

Thank you for everything you have done and I'm glad to hear you're still dedicated to the cause, the membership section and the marshalling.

    See ya soon!
