Angry #@$#@#$%@ ****head on a Bicycle!

Here we are trying our level best to educate drivers to THINK BIKE, and this includes the pedal powered ones, and this morning, just outside work, this Ahole on his pedal powered piece of crap, togged up to the nines in his black lycra, decorated with some alcholic beverage name, cuts the RED light from my left, and when I stand on the hooks and hoot, gives ME the finger?????? So I follow arsewipe, and pull up next to him, wind down the window and ask him who and what he thinks he is? and get told to F#@K OFF!?? Be VERY aware Twat, tomorrow I might not miss you!

The only threat I see in there is our Valiumless Vespa making a threat to inflict grievious bodily harm on the cyclist. Let's hope the oke on the bicycle doesn't read and follow you advice. I wouldn't like to see Vespa1 in jail. Who would care for those poor, defenceless little Vespas?

These twats are my pet hate. They think that they are above the law and ignore stop signs, traffic lights and road markings. They ride 3, or even 5 abreast and don't give a sh!te about other traffic. Do we need something like this to happen before they wake up

Idiots like the one described by V1 are the reason I very seldom marshal cycle races anymore.

I have yet to meet any other "grouping" of people that are so arrogant, inconsiderate & downright rude. On top of which I caught an entire team cheating on the last cycle race I marshaled. As well as a number of individuals cheating during the same race.

What astounds me is that these idiots also drive cars..................hmmmmm, maybe I've just discovered where 80% of the arrogant, inconsiderate & rude drivers are too!
I was also a strong lad once, long ago........when 2 strokes ruled the world & Texan Plain meant something...........

mmm. Arrogant, inconsiderate & rude is the problem - but cyclists really aren't any more guilty of it than motorists, bikers, pedestrians, shoppers and staff at Pick & Pray, people on their way church, your neighbours and even the guy begging for food on the corner.
Cyclists happen to be more visible than some of the others, but the basic arrogance and lack of consideration for others have become a feature of Jo'burg society.

I think arrogance and all that stuff runs far deeper than just a moegoe on a bicycle.

It is a sickness in our society.

I have also had no time for cyclists lately, we take our dogs for a run at the Delta Park and our very old Dobie, we don't put on a leash, he has no teeth, s\can't see and can't run, but he barks at stuff in the park like the Hadedas and Kiewiets. Along comes this off-road cyclists rides past the old dog, the dog barks and Mr cyclist kicks the dog in the face and rides away, he then shouts at me from about 100 metres away that I must put him on a leash. I said to him he must come say that here. He rode away.

That's OK....I'll be waiting for him with the Dakar on Sunday. It will be nice to have a chat with him again.

In fairness, I'm pretty sure the law states one's dog has to be on a leash? I may be wrong.

Rich, what the dude did is not right. Should get a m03rse klap! BUT, your old man needs to be on a leash. This will prevent some d|ckhead reacting like this. Please let me know when we're going to lay in wait for him though, I might just join.
