My feeling is that the parents are lying and trying to protect him. Lets hope that the parents can get charged with purgary as well.

What I suspect is that the police are not releasing the name of the driver to prevent the same flare-up as the taxi driver who murdered Bernadine Kruger by knocking her from her scooter.

They may well be doing that. I doubt if the details of how they are trying to arrest someone will be for general consumption on News24.

Do you know for a fact that he is somewhere where he can be arrested and that the police no the whereabouts of that place?

I think this is a great idea! Perhaps it's being used to get the guy to turn himself in so he'll be protected or to kick the police into overdrive to find him. A threat is a powerful thing under the right circumstances. It doesn't mean they have to carry it out.

It is not such a great idea for the one who made the threat, especially not threatening death. You may well find yourself behind bars for a long time should anything now happen to the person.

Also, the threat has handed (for a clever defense attorney) extinuating circumstances for the "run" part of the hit and run on a silver platter. Yes, I know this "hit" came after the accident, but a clever defense attorney can make a case for "extreme fear of all the bikers", case in point .... the hit.

Yes as much as an eye for an eye sounds good I also think living in jail for the rest of your life, most likely ending up as someone's b***h and dying a slow painful death of unnatural causes sounds pretty good too that way its not just over and done with in a matter of seconds but is a life of hell and will give him a long time to think about what he did.

I'm stating, Prosecutors are too. They go out of their way to get the guilty parties brought to justice. They'd be our best friends in this type of scenrio.

In that case the whole lawyer thing should have been left alone.
    I won't say more.
