    Default JumpIn down but OK

Just got a call from JumpIn, he went down on the way home. Cage in right hand lane apparently looked like he fell asleep, moved into the left lane, car in front braked and he went into the back.

He's ok, sore wrist and some roasties on his legs. Fairing on the scoot damaged. When I spoke to him his wife was on her way to fetch him.

    Heal up bud!

Sorry to hear about your off JumpIn. Heal up fast and go check out the Pegaso. It has way better breaking than the scooter!

Update: JumpIn's left wrist badly sprained, in a half cast for a couple weeks, and bad roasty on left knee. Good thing he bought riding pants last week!! Could have been much worse I reckon.

    Default Still in one piece...

Hey all, thx for the support, you guys rock! :1party:

Left wrist is sore, but bearable. All blue and scary looking, but ok. Left knee has a roastie and a bruised ligament, but is ok.

Can't ride or drive for about 2 weeks. which is even worse than having a sore wrist.

Scoot damage is mainly cosmetic. Thx to Ruari, Slowpoke and a guy I've forgotten his name (sorry, man) for getting my scoot to the GM workshop. I'll be spending some time on her soon...

And for anyone that may be interested...

I slid about 5m on the tarr. Basically head-first lying on my left side.

    Total damage to gear:
    scuff marks on left boot.
slight abrasion on left knee of "RedWing" Cordura pants
3 1-2cm scratches on helmet (very light)
only signs of anything on my 'DT' Cordura Jacket is some scratches on the left hand pocket zip and plastic fastener.
most damaged is my left hand glove, which took the most of the 'HIT' of the car and road. scuff marks on palm 'pad'. (thx to Vespa_1 for the gloves!)

That's it! while getting checked out at the hospital, I did a mental calculation of what I could have had...
no skin on left hand, probably worse than a sprain too.
no skin on left leg, probably more than just a bruised ligament on my knee.
no skin on left arm and shoulder.

    ATGATT rules!
