R275 is a good price. Where was that? I'm looking for a new battery for my scooter and haven't found one for less than R500...

Yip. If you start the bike, it takes a moment for the clock to switch on and settle down. I've notice that if I try to start the bike before the clock has settled down, it's reset.

I've since always waited for the clock to settle down first, and I've never had that problem again.

My clock resets doesn't matter what i do. I have noticed that if i've ridden about 25km, and stop and then start, the clock doesn't reset. Do you think this indicates a low battery, not a loose terminal issue?

Capital batteries, like everyone has said. Best place ever for batteries.

Bought one yesterday in fact... :P

Just walk in and ask, they'll check the number for you. Thats how they roll. R275 for a Twister battery.

And yes, the clocks resetting is a sign, we have 2 Twisters, both have done the same thing.

Do yourself a massive favour, fork out the extra R800 and get a CTEK 800 12v charger, with the extension leads. They take garage cards. The CTEK extension fits snugly under the seat, with a battery level indicator, and makes it so that you don't have to disassemble half the bike to charge it.

be careful with the ctek's,they are awesome, but if your battery is dieing,it will kill it once and for all.took out my GT250's battery and my Volvo's(okay okay,i know, its not meant for car batteries)

Heaven forbid you actually have to open a side cover and use that high quality tape measure I gave you. . . width depth and height is fine. (in mm please).

Or I could just buy a random one and hope it fits? Your call.
