    Came off my 7-year-old daughter's battery-powered scooter at about 20km/h. I wasn't wearing a helmet.

Fractured my skull in 4 places, shattered my top jaw and lost a tooth.

Taken by my Dentist - shows the extrusion of a Titanium screw (they fitted a cap over the top)

    MINIMUM Requirements !!!

Not as bad as your crash, but came down in jean ave after trying to be windgat, dont worry lesson learned.
    Full story here:

I did wear a jacket, but the jacket was to small and it was not zipped to my pants. Thus as i came down the jacket moved up and exposed the skin to the tar which felt like a cheese grator at that stage.
The image does not show my i cracked my collor bone as well.

Attgat is not only about wearing the clothing, its wearing the RIGHT clothing.

Thank heavens my gloves was on spec. broke the carbon fibre inlays... and lost like half the leather on the left glove. That could have been my hands

Still managed to break my left leg just under the knee. Broke my left wrist - NO WRISTIES FOR A WHILE! Broke my right elmboog - COULDN'T WIPE MY ASS!!! A scar on my elmboog from where the elbow protector cut into my flesh. Roasties on my left arm & hand. Boot roasties on both my ankles. A black eye from where the visor broke off & stuck back thru the kletterpet. Little cut on my nose & EEN OERSE bruised EGO!!!!!!!!!

Don't have any more pics BUT just ask Jack - she'll relay every scream that came out of my mouth!

    you tellin me!
We raced in jean ave and when you have 2 bikes riding between 12000 and 15000 revs you tend to get a bit of the crowd. When i fell there was at least 50 ppl from the dross and greenfields standing and watching.

Hah, what an excellent first post.

Relatively minor injury here, but I now have a really nasty scar for my troubles.
Was wearing jeans when I came off; basically peeled the skin right off my kneecap. There was absolutely no damage to the jeans though, which was great as it kept the dirt out of the wound (it got infected anyways).
It's a pity I didn't have a camera on me at the time, looking at your kneecap is an odd experience (there was hardly any blood). The pic above was taken 4 days after the accident.

And yes, over a year later it still hurts ? knee wounds a really wonderful...

    WARNING
    Very graphic pics

Two young men were killed after they crashed the motorcycle they were traveling on in Ituporanga, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Whilst riding it would appear that a car got too close to them, forcing them to swerve off the road. The rider lost control of the motorcycle resulting in the deaths of both himself and his pillion.

Two men were killed and their passengers injured recently following a collision between two motorcycles on a highway flyover. The vehicle approached from opposite directions, and for reasons unknown, had a head on collision. Both riders were piloting the same make of motorcycle. Namely the Pulsar Bajaj, which is apparently extremely popular in the country. Both riders were pronounced dead at the scene.
