Oh no! RIP Tour Biker
Welcome
I think that one more Lazarus award from the once great AMZ should qualify you too receive ownership of your bro's lekker Think Bike vest. It seems only right.
Nope, but a good effort!
Thanks for adding to the convo, Bloufieterjoel
...So basically a biker nappy?
It does keep one warm for a while during the ride...shhhh...
Works better in wet suits :tongue3:
I bought an Oxford rain suit way back from World of Accessories. Went back to complain that when riding with it in the rain it looks like I peed myself because the water enters at the pants seam...I...
When its extra cold I put a thin jacket under my bike jacket and I am sorted. You dont need to put a whole sheep worth of wool in, that extra thin layer does wonders to insulate your body.
I bought a JAG jacket from World of Accessories ....4\5 years ago. Still going strong even after a few offs. It too is a 4 season jacket.....I dont know if it is sold as one, but I wear it all year...
Glad to hear that everyone walked away (Except the kawa....RIP). So all in all, a good accident if one had to happen I suppose.
Read this one somewhere sometime: "A good ride is one that you can...
Glad you came away in one piece
Ooooh! Should have typed in a smaller font, @BMS!!!!
After all that, all that I managed to take away was: My mom grounded me from the internet and the ban lifted today
Welcome back to you too, sonny! :-P
I like to refer to peak traffic as "The Great Equaliser". It is during the Equaliser that you can see small bikes sitting behind bigger ones waiting for a chance to pass...This is of course excluding...
I could offer my cojones wheelbarrow for rent.....Will even clean it first!:tongue3:
Woohooo! Wel gedaan!
Welcome, venerable old timer!:salute:
Dont let the young uns make too much fun about the BMW :tongue3:
Heppie bifday!
I have also been very interested in the GV650 for some time, but their belt drives put me off it after the sales person claimed that it needed to be replaced every 6000km for quite a bit of cash....
Welcome back.
But they already accepted it by taking the money...didnt they?
Good point...But then how many glancing blows are too many? 2? 10?
While I doubt that I would have replaced the helmet, I can understand why it is recommended after an off...
The road is quite a hard thing to hit... :tongue3:
The rule of thumb, as I understand it, is that it should be replaced due to possible micro cracks in the shell that might weaken it or the foam...
Agree 100% with AMZ (Dont tell him).
F650GS is a very capable bike I understand. Put some road tyres on it and say its your supermoto :tongue3:
Was there another party involved, and was the accident deemed his\her fault? If so, then claim it back from their insurance. If not...pity.
A Merc decided to turn in front of me at a junction 2...
