Pleasure! Keep us updated. I'm also very happy with my pilot powers!
I've got a 2 year maintenance plan on my bike.
I like the new forecast!
The only problem with the new BMW R models on the wishlist is that they won't fit through the chimney!
Hi Cochise, maybe you should look into Michelin Pilot Road. I friend of mine got 20K km on his 1200RT!
And who will be the lucky boy? I'll pm you my address! :-)
I'll start:
A high quality pressure gauge like Kennedy can be had for R90!
A Buff also always works.
I think we had this thread last year as well and seeing its almoust time again:
What would you like to receive this year or buy for a biker as a useful gift?
You sound like my wife, buying things for how they look! Me on the other hand, looks at materials of construction, warranty, reviews, after sales service, value for money, past performance and price...
This is sad to hear. So it was not even a sound business decision?! Yanks!
Sorry to hear Leon! A case of wrong place at the wrong time I guess.
You Capies got me on the floor laughing now!
That's why I also do: Dai a nice Ducati! (Dainese) :-)
This is one of those things I'd do DIY. He can even incorporate a gel seat!
I don't do running!
The racing Buells run chains instead of belts. My next bike should feature a belt or shaft!
At least I only have 1 Ducati! AND I'm still on my first engine! :-)
Well, my sidi boots will outlast any tyre!
So its basically FSH with dealer (better resale value) vs self service(cheaper and with peace of mind). Uhmmm, what to do?
This is what I want to hear! Don't want to be replacing rear again in 6k!
That is why I like owning such brands. Bit of anti-establishment in me! I once had a guy come up to me and say: Nice Ducati, they use harley engines right. I was dumbstruck.....
So I had the Pilot Powers fitted yesterday. Only rode them home in the rain at a SLOW pace. First difference compared to the BT56, they want to lean! Will update more later.
I love my duke! Funny thing though, everybody has a duke ownership opinion without ever even owning one themselves!
I value my boots and gloves the most important parts of my kit! Love my Sidi Vertigo boots. I see Sidi now also entered the glove market.
RIP Nic
