The WTT came and went. Quietly and unoticed by some, but certainly noticed by the 50 000 odd particpants and all those working to keep the walkers safe, sound and happy during the 30km, 15km, 8km and 5km routes. TB deployed 30 odd Marshals. Three in the JOC, three Reaction Marshals and the rest on intersections. I did duty at two different intersections as directed by the JOC.

It was a long day, starting at 03:30 when most got out of bed, ending after 17:00 when most would have arrived at home. It was hard work, but as always enjoyable. Yes, there were some really nasty people, walkers and cagers alike, but the vast majority was fun and fair.

As the CoB of TB, I am immensely proud of the work done by the TB Marshals. It was a huge job, a massive undertaking and it ran like clockwork ... a Swiss clock's works as well. Congrats to the Event Captain (Wally), the Event Team, JOC Team, Ground Team and all Marshals. You guys and guyettes certainly made us proud.

At the end of the day, when I chatted to our customer, she said two things that almost had my head burst out from under my hair:

- She can see how we up our game evertime she works with us.
- She will never arrange an event like this without TB.

Thank you all!

AMZ is right - long hours and hard work, but the friendly walkers, residents and cages made up for the abusive ones. To the whole family - hats off to you all.
