Something like this

It's for a honda cbx250 twister, would honda sell ones as well?

Probably not. Try Skinny. She sells Givi topboxes so might be able to help.

If Skinny can't help, try Nico screens. He advertises in BikeSA. He made my screen for my Twister.

You can check on the Givi site if they have any screens or boxes that will fit your bike. Just go to www.givi.it & search your bike. Then let me know if there is anything I can order for you - BUT - as I recall, they did not have any fittings for the Twister... Other option is Kappa (...but I think PD tried them already for you, hey?)

I like it... keep the worst wind off the chest. The taller the screen the more the wind comes over it into your face making your hemet buffet. You just want a small screen on a naked bike.

That is very similar to what Nico did for me, cost me 650.00

Same as on a faired bike: to reduce wind on your body and face.

If you mean : "Why buy a naked bike if you are going to fit a screen?" I'd say that in this case it is because the Twister is the best deal in this price range and happens to be naked :)

I love the looks of the naked bike with engine on display and I aint gonna do 300kph so I hardly need the racing fairing, yet the wind hitting you in the chest can be quite tiring at 'normal' road speeds too. A tiny screen deflects just enough wind to make the ride more comfortable.
On my Fazer600 the mini-fairing helps the bike in the wind as well making it more manageable and economical, while still being a naked bike (almost)

HAve a look at the MRA screens www.mra.de (http://www.mra.de)

Not sure if they make one specifically for the Twister but they do make for the nakeds. I think Moto Bakker in Cape Town are the local agents...

It's great to see and read about the latest full faired race spec megabucks motorcycles that are being launched fast and furious, but it's still the naked bike that catches my eye...:love7:

Same here, love the way naked bikes look, and that' a beauty! But how do you manage anything over say 120km/h on a naked bike?

I agree the naked looks sexy, even the Twister look great (to me). That i why I am in two minds whether it is really the right thing to do. The twister does not really go much faster that 120 any way.:dontknow:

So far I've had my Z1000 up to 160km/h and been fine. There is obviously a little more wind  but it's not like it's going to rip you off the bike...unless you relax the hands a bit :evil4:

How about a handle-bar mounted bikini fairing ? Enough to tidy up the airflow round the clocks but still leaves the bike there for all to see. Either sprayed black, or colour coded to your bike if you can afford it. When I used to have a Yammy XS750 triple, I fitted an old bikini fairing my mate Caveman donated to me and got an extra 15 km/h top speed as a result !!!

As I recall, Bike Hospital usually has a variety of raw fibre-glass ones in stock ...

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I've always equated "Screens" with "Delivery Bikes" .....

You'll still be fine up to 200kph, "Did I say that out loud" the wind is a bit nasty then but nothing too serious.
I love the Naked Bikes ......
