This last Sunday was the monthly TB breakfast run and TonyN's first opportunity to show his new silver VTR Firestorm off...TonyN where are the pics man????

We met at the N2 Engen destination Rooi Els...or so I heard.
There were some new faces, I was looking for Nova, but there was this one guy hanging around with a nice looking CBR600 who turned out to be Nova's buddy whom he had invited on the run earlier. It turned out the Nova's back brake broke...so he couldn't make it, what are back brakes for anyway, ask PD who commuted for a few days without pads even :)

The CBR owners name is Ben, and the other new face a friend of Chicken Dee and TonyN's is Michael Jackson....on his brand new week old GSXR750, leathers & Helmet.

DaFiz was there on his Fazer 600, Vulture on his GSXR1100N, PD on her RVF400 and Valdezugar on his VFR800.

Eventually we headed out to Gordons Bay and along the coast road towards Rooi Els, I had a good scratch on my own and made Rooi Els before the group where I parked up and took earplugs out etc...a little while later Vulture arrived but the group was missing....I missed them, they must have slipped by while I was day dreaming about panado's for my hangover...

So after a few minutes we headed out again towards Betty's bay and Klein Mond...by the time we cruised through Betty's Bay I was a little concerned that we'd, missed the group somehow, its been a while now....I was scanning petrol stations as we went past but nada motocyclo.....we left Betty's Bay and sped up for the short run to Klein Mond...ahead was the righ hand downhill sweep over the river...and bikes parked up...****! accident, oh **** its my group, relief that PD's bike, and Abu's bike were parked up....sick to mys stomache that someone was hurt, or dead...what I couldn't work out who was missing....maybe it was another rider who went off...I parked up and saw the bike, which looked pretty farked, still didnt recognise it then I realise it, the GSXR...damn its Michael Jackson!!!

There were people all around, a canoeist who knew first aid, some police arived, a tow truck, an ambulance (a Chana)...I checked out his helmet, it was pretty ****ed. The top at the front was all paint free...there was a corresponding bruise appearing on Michaels forehead, I pointed to it but kept my mouth shut, he had enough to think about.

All credit to all involved...Sharief stopped to help, Spidi leathers and CBR600 '07', Steve from Pure Art with prosthetic leg lost in a low speed T bone with a car (has thumb operated gear change on his ZX9R, green for up, red for down, pretty neat), Krog Potgieter (Owner Cycle City, Nomads member and chief Concourse judge at the Buff :)) on his ZX10R also stopped, but by then the ambulance had left...

Luckily Mr Jackson had missed a major sign, and a major rock...his bike was not so lucky...check out the pics taken with Nokia 6280, the one time I didnt take my bloody camera WTF??!.

Looking at the damage, I am glad to hear MJ has minor damage.... me thinks he is extremely lucky.

Looking at the road, wtf happened there? What caused him to run off? He starting running off even before the corner :?

Positive vibes going to MJ, may he heal up fast. Please let him know we wich him well and thanks for the update.

Thanks for the wishes DaCat, I'll pass them on...yeah there were quite a few big pointy granite stones stewn around which may have caused him to lose the front...we removed them.
