I have read this article on News24 this morning, anyone have any details?

Cop car kills teen on scooter

Pretoria - A teenager was killed when the scooter she was driving on in Brooklyn collided with a police vehicle, Pretoria police said on Thursday.

Spokesperson Inspector Katlego Mogale said three police officers were injured and taken to Kloof Hospital in the city after the accident on Wednesday evening.

Police have opened a case of culpable homicide.

The identity of the 17-year-old has not yet been disclosed.

No further details were available.

According 94.7 news, the scooter skipped the red robot. Just wonder what the truth is - who skipped the robot realy

It is standard practice to open a manslaughter case any time someone is killed on the roads.

A 17-year-old girl driving a motorbike has died after she collided with a police vehicle in Brooklyn in Pretoria.

The accident occurred last night. The police's Anton Breedt says the teen skipped a stop sign. Yesterday three children were killed in separate accidents in Soweto and Pretoria after being knocked over by cars. Back to headlines

Yes, you are right Bucc....Sad thing is just that, we have really reached a stage where we can hardly call biking fun ... There are more deaths than parties or fun runs.
