Massive thanks to Centurion Mag Repairs for fixing the front wheel perfectly and giving the wheels a new look:

And I have some nice sticky track rubber just waiting to be fitted:

    Thanks Dre

I will take better pics later, but I am very happy and proud it turned out this way.

And outside in the sun standing on it's own two feet once again.

Needs a wash desperately, and a few small things to do like fit the Dzus fasteners on the side fairing, bend a bracket for the upper fairing, fix the brake pipe, get a new front fender, but DAMN! This looks good!

Looks even better in the sunlight! Well done again!
Are you only going to do track riding with her?

Just went back and read through your previous posts where you said she is only going to be a track bike...that will teach me to read before I post. All the best, wish you many happy track miles with the rubber on the ground!!

Thanks Dre. Yup, track only. But....... if I decide to turn it into a road bike again, all it will take is fitting headlights, a taillight, number plate holder, licence disc, and off it goes. I am keeping the licence disc renewd and have already done the colour change document, so it is still registered as a road legal bike.

    Thanks Carbon! I am happy.

I did some more work today.
Tidied up the wiring behind the top fairing.
Adjusted (as in bent with a water pump pliers) the bellypan brackets to fit the mounting holes properly. The joys of fibreglass aftermarket fairings. There are always some small things that don't line up.
Cleaned the air filter (DNA jobbie).
Serviced with fresh Motul 300V 15W50.
    New oil filter.
The hard starting issue (as in the vid in the previous post) is now sorted. A small pipe on the one throttle body had popped off. I checked all the pipes and fittings as well.

On the to-do list to get the bike sorted 100% is the following:

Brake pipe fix. Getting that done in next week.
    Source a new front fender.
Drill and tap two 4mm holes for the sides of the tail unit. The OEM holes are 8mm too far forward, but there is enough meat in the frame to allow extra holes. And yes, I have already spoken to a few people who have done the exact same thing with no issues.

Very nice! But I see in your pic that you are missing one of the fasteners on your belly pan!

Yup, there are two missing Dzus fasteners, one on each side. I am getting some this week.

Looking freaking awesome man! Im very impressed with how it turned out!

    Couple questions.

Im getting a second bike for commuting shortly and Im thinking about turning my tuono into a track/ weekend only bike.

    1. Will I be able to do this with the GFP clip ons and the standard fairings? Will there be any clearance issues?
    2. Do you have the paint code for the red you used on your wheels? I'd like to get mine done as well.
    3. Where can I get chinese RSV4 fairings for the Tuono that dont cost an arm and a leg from AF1.

    Thanks bud.

    1. The clipons will touch the Tuono fairing sides, but only if you turn the bars quite a bit.
    2. The place that fixed the wheels matched the paint to the decal colour. I can find out if they used a specific paint code or if the matched it by eye.
    3. There are a few local places that do fibreglass race fairings for bikes, best would be to contact them and see if they do RSV4 fairings. The ones I have were apparently imported from the UK.

Arktic, they colour matched the paint by eye. Damn good gob they did as well.

And on MotoXP Ricambi's site (place where I got the decal kit), they have some pics of my baby:
