There is no "hatred" for all things Chinese from me. It is just that experience tells me what to buy and what not when it comes to bikes and Chinese is lowest on the list. Keep in mind you have come to a biker's forum asking for advice. You got that. I, me personally would rather do a Honda Twister.
That being said, a quick search of Hellopeter indicates that Motomia in South Africa is providing pretty good service and the specs show that the Monza is a nice enough bike, i.e. double discs in front. It looks modern and even exciting. It does look like it is using the Honda 250 engine as most Chinese small bikes use previous generation Honda and/or Yamaha engines anyway. Importantly, it carries a 2 year or 20 000km warranty which is excellent if the dealer will be around to honour the warranty (just saw Az said they will be around for some time). The 4000km service interval is better than most in its class. On the face of it, not a bad price at R18k.
So, basically you weigh to risks. The risk of how the second hand Twister was treated prior to you owning it, or the risk of owning a CHinese brand bike.
