Any venues around the "cradle area" (Magalies, Hekpoort, etc.)?

Leopard Lodge is a quite good venue.

If I remember correctly was about R85 for a buffet breakfast

Just google the name for location

Let me try resurrect this thread.

I have found some awesome places for breakfast:

Stone Cradle at Rietvlei Dam - brilliant value for money breakfast. View over the Rietvlei nature reserve. It is actually the home base for the Pretoria Harley Riders
    Phone 0732662555

    Ndlovu Lodge, Swavelpoort, Pretoria East
Buffet breakfast @ R65 per person. Way too much food!

Moegeploegkroeg (just past Greylingstad). What a place. Great for a longer run. This is part of the Val Hotel (check out their website www.valhotel.co.za) Excellent value for money and the hostess Rita is great. 0825505540

The South has some interesting spots, just that you will have to ride with Stranger or you will get lost. (you have been warned )

There is 100 places around Harties. I suggest you take a day, and drive up and down all the roads in a radius of about 30km around Harties. Stunning hidden away places, all catering espesially for bikers on weekends.

I will pick up flyers on our next visit there and post their details.

Thanks, would appreciate that. Somehow we tend to keep away from the Harties area, especially on Sundays as the weekend warriors tend to use those roads as a race-track!!! But please do post details, I'm always looking for new places for our club.

Went to Stone Cradle today - must say it was excellent and very welcoming to bikers!
Just a note - they stop breakfast at 10h30.

    Happy landings.

We found a nice little restaurant in the cradle yesterday. It's called the Auto Cradle Pitstop. Very biker friendly, and good food at a good price. They also have a pub area and sounded like they have a big screen upstairs (but did not go see).

They even have a table with a bucket and towel on for bikers to clean the bugs off their visors

Reservations are not necessary, but if you want to organise a big group, then contact Debbie on zero 8 two 7 eight 2 four 1 four 2

See the link below for the route fe took from Kolonnade shopping centre:

Yup, it's a great spot! They were staunch supporters of TB a few years back, we even had a TB function/social there back when Shado was still in charge of "project management" - or events as we used to call it!! They used to have a forum banner as well iirc.

Take this offramp and turn right towards Parys to cross the N1. Go 1.1kms down the road and turn right. The berry farm is 400m down the road on your right.

    Default Charity Breakfast run

We would like to host a charity breakfast run and also to make it an annual event. We are a registered charity. We are looking for some help / advice as to possible venues that could host up to 100 bikers.

I can recommend Diesel & Creme in Barrydale - very yummy milkshakes and 35+ different flavours to choose from

Before or after? It depends which side you are coming from...
Have actually decided that there is so much to see and do out that way that the next trip will be for a night or two. We are planning a small girls trip in the new year

That's discriminatory, what about medium and large size gurls?
