It narrows the exhaust exit at the end of the Cowley, ultimately helping with noise reduction and back pressure. Seen a few guys do it
Thank you for the advice , will look into it

    Hi all

New Twister owner (new anything bike related owner...) and I thought I might be able to get some advice here.

I took my bike on the freeway for the first time this weekend and really took a hammering from the wind (Im a tall guy as it is and the sitting position means Im basically a sail). Im looking to get a windshield and was wondering how effective it actually is. Im on a super strict budget and if the shield only helps a little, I might rather spend my money on other things.

    Thanks

I got a Puig windy after spending alot of time on the highway for work. being a tall ish guy i cant tell you how great the improvement was. yes the Puig windy is pricey, but man does it make the bike look good, has improved power feel, and is a lot more comfortable to sit on the highway with. plus now if a car does the speed limit plus bribe money i can get out the way if i tuck my self behind the screen.

Thats a very old photo, have been through a few crashes with it and its a bit scuffed up now, but still does the job really well and looks Matt black now

Ye, back in the Day, i was very luck to find one through Fullthrottle who got it From Trickbitz, prob is Trickbitz doesnt sell to the public, you can ask the Shops to get it from Trickbitz if they have an account there,

Try Moto Mate (various branches) http://motomate.co.za/generalaccessories.php
Page should open on the reference to Puig screens.

    Awesome thanks

Does anyone know which model it is? I cant find anything specific to the CBX 250 so I assume it uses something else that also fits.

also a tallish guy, and I have the windy, it does make the bike look good .I crouch a little on the freeway and it really helps you can feel the air skimming off your lid. assume the givi would be best if you want to sit a little more upright as its taller. The Givi looks neat
